"Bad workmanship"
Gutter mesh was hanging off my roof called company and was told would come and fix problem for another $2,800 are they crazy. Senior citizen that I am called warranty company came out concluded that was improperly installed and took pics heard him call boss said get back to me and now month and half no word until rep tried to sell to my niece and was told of my problem.Rep said take care of it and than texted me no go. Texted me that not there problem was roofers fault and warranty was revoked. Roofers did great job and didn't touch gutters but gave them excuse not to fix problem. Tried to reach out at least 4 times they kept stalling. Didn't come out to look at it and at least try to see problem if it was installed properly. Wow never had this happen with other companies Beware!!

"Don't Do The Job"
As I speak water is running all over my deck, splashing in the dirt in front of my garage door and water running under the door. The one year warranty is for cleaning the gutters for free then it is $95 each time thereafter. The gutter guards plug up more than the gutters did and need cleaning 5 or 6 times a year. All I want is for them to be removed and my money refunded and all they do is send out a tech to "have a look". Would never deal with this company again. I have a forum on Facebook calle Leaf Filter complaints; I am in BC and am trying to get enough cases to interest a class action suit lawyer. We have to get together on this problem because one at a time they can just give us the run around.

"Doesn't do the job."
When the sales person came we showed him the pine trees prob 10 ft or so in back of our house. The pine needles & other tree debris collected on top with the needles stuck straight up in the screen. We waited for a rain & wind event to see if that would knock it all down. It did not. It is not en oh ugh if a slant for things to fall off.

Great experience. Sales estimate was competitive for the quality product provided. Installer was on time and completed the installation on our 2K square foot home in about 1/2 day. He walked me around before the job and reiterated what he would be doing. He walked me around after the installation and explained exactly what he had completed. Great experience. Thanks!

"Trust your gut"
I should have followed my gut or at least, read the reviews before using Leaffilters. Our area was blanketed with mailers, newspaper ads and leaflets. But strangely, the sales person was not aware of the discounts on flyers. I fell for the "I can give you an 'at cost' deal, if you don't tell anyone with my discounts' only to find out my neighbor, with identical gutters, paid $150 less, without qualifying discounts. There were so many intermittent warning during the installation I did not heed. Lack of gutter accessibility was a major disadvantage but I could see shoddy work from ground level. The final project is NOTHING like the sales person's model, plus: installer did not level the gutter; gutter underside left rusted w/holes; gutter end cap not installed; supervisor 1st visit less than 2min to inspect n sign off; supervisor's 2nd visit revealed frayed, disconnected micro screen n need for inside corner plate replacement, questionable rain spout testing. I suspect the first rain will uncover more problems. I'll update if the Warranty is any good. Caution: You choose the best payment method for you! Don't give in to pressure and give up your right to dispute.

"Salesperson came with folder with the leaf filter logo"
Salesperson came with folder with the leaf filter logo, showed me the examples of the gutter I wanted. The price he quoted was high for me and I said no. He then said there was a 30% sale so I agreed on the price. The agreement had the leaf filter logo at the top. Paid by check made out to leaf filter after the installment. Later that day I got on my ladder to see how the gutter looked. Was not a leaf filter gutter, just an ordinary style gutter. I am a woman of 78 and do not need to be climbing ladders. Feel like this was a bait and switch operation. All I can say is buyer beware.

"Solved my problems"
I have a two oaks and a maple tree near my house. I tried all types of gutter guards, installing some myself, but they never worked. When the trees shed their leaves, I would still have leaves on top of the gutter guards so I would need to use a ladder. So after getting a new roof and gutters, I read up on Leaf Filter and decided to give them a try. They work great and I have had no problems at all with them. Leaves don't accumulate on top. They also have a life time guarantee and are transferrable. The only negative is that they are very expensive and you need to negotiate the price with the salesman. Don't accept their first offer.

"Don't waste your money!"
These clog gutters since everything lays on top preventing water from entering gutter, and carried away. I've had them out on three occasions abs all three times was told the problem was rectified. $8,000 later... having them removed! Much cheaper to pay someone twice a year to clean them out!
