"Leaffilter Scams Seniors Then Wears Them Out With Excuses"
Leaffilter causes gutter failures by putting fine mesh over working gutters - abrupt over flows cause flooding emergencies which then cause more damage. And they now refuse to remove them. Our Leaffilters clogged with roof dust (???!!!) And failed after only a week! We were blamed for sweeping the roof!? So, do you think a product that can't handle dust can handle tree leaves, pollen, etc? The salesperson pressure sold an old man to buy that day and have installed that day or else lose the price. They provided an instant approval credit card to pay a crazy price of $4000 for a $1200 job to an 86 yr old disabled vet on a fixed income, then told him to shred the card...Destroying any way for him to dispute charge in a timely manner. The veterans lawyer just advised doing 3 things immediately 1) File contractors board complaint 2) File DAs office complaint 3) File in small claims-charging then to remove the crap This company needs to be made an example of by some consumer advocate lawyer.

"Causes ice damage to roof/house. Bad customer service!"
This product is not for cold/snow environment. Salesman lies that this product works in snow/ice with no problems. The leaf filter system has caused ice blocking and subsequent damage to my roof and house. Denver team is terrible. Instead of fixing anything they caused more damage to include a claw hammer to their own product. Customer service is no help, they only pass calls and work orders to the same problem originators. When trying to contact anyone from corporate for assistance was not met with avoidance and blame of everything else except their product. Now instead of cleaning gutters I get to clean snow off my roof/gutters. I do not recommend the product, the Denver personnel, or the corporate support.

"Stereotypical sharky salesman - canned spiel"
To their credit I would not describe the salesman as rude nor a goon. That's the end of what's good. Everything else about it is bad. He followed the cheesy used car salesman in the loud plaid sportcoat routine including trial close, "buy it today" discount, friends and family discount and finally cost plus. 215 lineal feet started at $6,450, was reduced 25%, and then went down to $2,500 "cost of materials" plus 10% i.e. $2,750 before he gave up. I also got the guilt trip about the travel time, gas, distance, etc. More importantly our state requires masks due to COVID-19. Salesman showed up not wearing one and didn't have one. I should have told him to leave on the spot. He tried to explain how I am no risk and he is no risk and therefore it's OK. It isn't OK. Their sales presentation book contains quoted material from Consumer Reports and I'm not sure if it's real or fake. In either case Consumer Reports does not permit commercial reproduction or use of their material at all.

"LeafFilter isn't working"
Along with everyone else, LeafFilter doesn't work in snow. Shortly after installation, we had a 2" snow fall and much as other writers mentioned, water flows off of the house as though we have no gutters. The worst part is this company has terrible customer service and follow through. From the sales person (after the sale), to the customer service, to the management, they are rude and dishonest. Despite all of the reviews here noting the problem with snow, LeafFilter directly told me "I have never heard of this complaint before". Please do not use this company, not only does the product not work properly for New England/places that get snow, the company is horrible to deal with.

"What warrenty?"
Leaf filter installed in late February, 6 weeks later we have first rain/hail storm and the ends of each and every section of filter lifted up on all four sides of the house. Service man came out and said it was storm damage and my homeowners insurance should cover it---I say it was poor installation--first time we have a little wind and they start lifting and no, leaf filter will not do the courtesy of getting them back in place and anchored down securely.

"Home owner"
Just had the first snow since the Leaf Filters were installed. The snow piled on top of the fine screens and when it started to melt, water ran over the sides as if I had no gutters at all. Went out the back door and got drips down the back of my neck. Icicles are forming on the outer edge of the gutter. I had asked the salesman about what problems winter would present, and was assured there would be none.

"and further ..."
See my 02-20-2020 review. Everyone needs to read the horrible reviews that this outfit generates. On another site, the owners respond to every single unfavorable review with, "we will reach out ..." Bull! This entire business is a scam from the very beginning; a goon who tries to muscle his product, who turns mean at the slightest notion of being rejected, prices that are outrageous, results that are disastrous, and products that are inferior and poorly designed. I feel bad for the many people who have (and who are being) been cheated and wonder why state licensing bureaus cannot shut down this scam; but anyone who doesn't do diligent research should expect nothing but grief.

"Stay Away!"
I asked for an estimate only and their goon came out, measured my system and then barged into my home, uninvited, saying, "got a table?" His arms were full of roofing, gutter, downspout, and gutter guard samples and I knew immediately we were headed for a protracted, stressful, antagonizing encounter. "All I want is an estimate; I do not want to sit through an entire sales presentation." "No presentation, no estimate," he seethed. No one comes into my home without being invited and a Glock 9mm backs this notion. It didn't get that bad but "Goon" was ushered out, visibly enraged. These people will rake you over the coals so tread carefully. Five years ago I had a brand new gutter and downspout system installed on a 2100 sq ft hourse for about $900.00. I've heard these guys will try and charge you ten times that amount!

"Mesh over gutters"
This entire event has been awful! Don't fall for it! The sales person was so smooth and we decided to agree to buy the product. We expected a service van with a group of workers to install the gutter guard and a beat up barely running van with one shady character arrived. The installation was horrible with large gaps between the pieces of mesh which they don't show in the video or sales pitch. We took pictures and they agreed to send another person; he was about 18 years old and made it worse, didn't finish and left his tools in the yard! He told us NOT to call the office to reschedule, only contact him. He never came back after rescheduling twice. Finally a third person came out and he called the "central office" and told them it was terrible and something needed to be done such as removal and replacement. We have never heard from them after many, many phone calls. They refuse to remove the material and give us our money back. We have contacted Ohio without any results and our next step is small claims court. Do not agree to buy this product!

"Ice jam"
I purchased the Leaf Filter in Sept. 2015 for leaf glob prevention on my two story house ( just on the drive way side of the home ) neighbors tree issues. It seemed to be doing well the past few years ( I thought ) but I finally put two n two together this tear 2020, we have been having a Icey situation in the drive vary dangerous every winter, of course, the snow freezes on top the shield, the mesh portion does freeze so the snow piles up and melts over the gutter huge icicles issue...the other side of the house has no dripping of anything no ice build up No Leaf Filter either, I rest my case! Good but not good enough Now what?
