"Don't Trust the Sales People"
The product is over priced, and they will try to get you to pay so much more than they are willing to sell it to you. I had some damage to my gutters, which they fixed. Getting someone to repair that would have been a pretty good expense, so I came out better than most people just wanting the filter installed. The sales people come off like used care salemans, starting high in price and coming down, with tricks like needing to keep workings working and 3 day deals. Also calling managers to get a cheaper price. Very shady! The said a time would come out to install, but they sent one man. It rained the next day and the gutter leaked, so I called and at least they did send him back to fix it at no cost. I would be very careful about dealing with these people and get them to come down a Lot! Also know the cost of other work you need to do, that they say they will do as part of the deal, and see if it is a fit for you. It worked out for me. And living in the woods as I do, it does seem to be helping keep things out of the gutter. But I would tell you - Do Not Trust Them!

"From the start, it was a very good experience"
From the start, it was a very good experience. Very professional. They didn't muddy the water by bashing the competition. Just gave us the facts. They came when they said they would be at our home. They cleaned the gutters and fixed a few problems. Installed the LeafFilters. Cleaned up the mess. We were hit with a terrific Thunder downpour storm that evening. I have peace of mind as a bonus.

"Awesome"
From our interaction with the salesperson to the actual installation, on the date/time that we selected, Leaf Filter met or exceeded our expectations. Everyone involved was knowledgeable, competent and friendly. We would highly recommend this company.

"The good and the bad."
I had the LeafFilter system installed over a well done gutter and down spout installation which was done by another company. LeafFilter has their own installer companies. The estimator was personable and the quote was for $4,576. I have a large three story house, so I signed up. The first crew came and left because they had the "wrong ladders". The second crew did nothing because they had the "wrong ladders". Finally one man showed up (the next week) and did the entire install by himself. I have no complaints about his work. He told me that he was the company trainer for the other crews. My roof is steep and in some sections all of the rain does not penetrate the metal screen during a heavy downfall making the gutters inoperable in some places.

"I've been had"
The installer showed up just before dark and said there was no problem ours was a small job. By the time it was installed it was to dark to see much. The next morning when it's light we see just how bad a job they did. There is a 2- 2 1/2" drop in just 12' of gutter. It looks like crap. Customer service is a joke trying to get someone out to fix there work.

"Customer Service is a total Sham"
Install Leaf Filter System and then later damage with roof install. Calling Service Department 8-10 times no response. Cannot get in touch to get estimate. They are ghosting me. Product may be good but service response nonexistent. Think twice before you buy. Warranty is beyond questionable. If they would call but they are avoiding me!

"Only if you don't like customer service"
Buy only if NO customer service is ok with you, because that is what your going to get. If you live in area where it hails at all make sure your home owners insurance is paid - this product will no last.

"Lies Lies Lies"
Sales person LIED about my existing gutters causing roof damage... and that Leaf Filter installers would fix the existing roof damage. When installer came out he said there was no roof damage and even if there was, he would not be able to fix it. Then got Sales Manager Aaron on the phone where he went along with what his sales person said about me having roof damage when he has never seen my property and when I told him that his installers said I didn't have any roof damage then Aaron backpeddled on what he had said. Then he continued to insult me on the phone with interrupting me and talking over me. Then I called Corporate to complain about all of it and got Zach, Corporate Installation Mgr of NE and he called me (2) days later to say that I would be getting a $600 credit for my troubles and now it is (20) days later and still don't have the credit. Everyone lies and don't do what they say they will and rip people off.

"Stay Away !"
All the reviews are basically the same, complaining of Leaf Filter's dishonest scam tactics, which is all too true. Stay away from this company if you want to avoid endless headaches. Potential clients or clients who are familiar with their extreme dishonesty, lies should put these scammers out of business. It is heart breaking to read the misery these people have gone through and the seniors whom are told they will get their Senior Discounts and or Veteran Discounts, while in fact, Leaf Filter charges between $100 and upwards per linear foot. Their only goal is to cheat people out of their $$$. Issues are not resolved, like they claim on other websites. They refuse to answer phone calls from clients nor resolve problems, blaming clients for the problems. Go to your neighborhood Lowe's or Home Depot or whatever you have locally to see the normal prices for such items. Have a local, reputable roofer install these items purchased by the roofer. Leaf Filters does not offer better quality products. Be sure to read the review from a former employee, Roan Cornay who warns people of the Leaf Filter Company. As the former employee says, the leaf filters because of its very fine filter actually prevents the rain from going into the gutters and thus, dirt, leafs and water run right off the filter. Do your math, read other reviews and you can avoid the headaches that everyone that had something to do with this company can avoid. We wish we had read the reviews before being pressured to sign such a contract. They are worst than the "door-to door salesman" from the 1950's trying to sell you a vacuum cleaner that you don't need or want. Use the services of a local, reputable roofer and keep these honest business in business not Leaf Filter.

"Very disappointing Experience"
Unsatisfactory/uneconomical experience with LeafFilter. Salesman, a subcontractor, pleasant guy. Unfortunately he made commitments that the installation manager would not honor regarding the installation of a rain chain vs a downspout. Installer, subcontractor, first installer, arrogant and offensive, to say the least, showed up without gutter to be installed, complained that parts weren't there, ate lunch and left. Called installation Mgr (?), more arrogance, finally Installation rescheduled. 2nd installer, subcontractor, shows up, no gutter, adjusts gutters and installs leaf filters. Two days for gutter parts to show up dragging out installation over two days vs 6 hours. Installation a messy process with cutting & grinding on deck and junk and parts left on deck and driveway. Post installation, 4-6 seams that were suppose to be sealed leaking. Call for service, appointment set. Day of repair, called, too busy, repair rescheduled 2.5 weeks later. Day of repair scheduled for 8-12, called at 9;00 AM, too busy, caller suggest reschedule 3 weeks later. Ask to talk to service manager. call central office for help. Speak to nice lady. Still waiting for return calls and resolution of leaks and installation of rain chain. Suggestion, do not do business with LeafFilter gutter protection. If you do, do not pay by check to maintain your recourse. Do not pay full amount until installation is complete and function is confirmed through two rain storms including verification of gutter pitch, no leaks and cleanup complete.
